As Christians, we don’t get to sit out the voting booth and call it neutrality. Scripture calls us to be salt and light in the world, and that includes who we put into positions of authority over us. Proverbs 29:2 says, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” We have a responsibility before God to vote for righteous leaders, not simply along party lines out of habit or tradition. That means looking honestly at what a party stands for and asks its members to support. And when we do that with the Democratic Party today, what we find is a platform that lines up, point for point, with doctrines Scripture calls demonic. That is why I call it what it is: the Demoncratic Party.
This is not a misspelling, it is fact. 1 Timothy 4:1: “Now the Spirit explicitly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.” Let’s talk about the doctrine of demons — what is the doctrine of demons but a doctrine that Satan would support? Let’s look at a few:
1) The killing of babies by abortion — clearly the worship of the Old Testament god Molech. Scripture is direct about this. 1 Kings 11:7 records that Solomon himself built a high place for Molech, “the abomination of the children of Ammon,” on a hill outside Jerusalem — a sin that provoked God’s anger against him. Molech worship centered on child sacrifice, and Jeremiah 7:30–32 describes God’s fury at Judah for building the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Ben-Hinnom “to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire” — something God says He never commanded and never even entered His mind. God declares that place will be renamed the Valley of Slaughter because of what was done there. If child sacrifice to Molech was an abomination then, the mass killing of unborn children now is no different in God’s eyes.
2) The whole woke doctrine of transgenderism, meaning naked men strutting in young girls’ locker rooms, men competing in girls’ sports, cutting little boys to turn them into girls and vice versa, completely abandoning the science of the genders of male and female. Jesus Himself settled this in Matthew 19:4, when asked about marriage and pointed back to creation: “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female?” Christ affirmed only two genders, fixed at creation — not a spectrum, not a choice, not something surgery or hormones can rewrite. Add to this the Supreme Court’s ruling that marriage can be between two men or two women, and now politicians saying they are Christian but God Himself is bi-gender.
These are all part of the platform of the Demoncratic Party, and it must be exposed. No follower of Christ should ever vote for these demonic policies. It must be stressed that the Demoncratic Party always votes in unison, with never a dissent.
3) Marxism isn’t neutral on the question of God — it’s explicitly atheistic and materialist by design. Marx himself called religion “the opium of the people,” and every communist regime in history — the Soviet Union, Maoist China, Castro’s Cuba — moved to suppress religious practice and replace ultimate loyalty to God with loyalty to the state. We’re already seeing these principles take root, not just in rhetoric but in office. New York City’s own mayor, Zohran Mamdani, was caught on a resurfaced video floating “the abolition of private property” as preferable to the current housing system, and has separately spoken about “seizing the means of production” — language lifted straight from Marx. This isn’t a fringe activist; this is the man now running the largest city in America, elected under the Demoncratic Party banner. And it’s not isolated: Mamdani’s own Director of the Office to Protect Tenants has called private property and homeownership a “weapon of white supremacy,” rooted in racism and classism. When the leadership of a major American city treats private ownership itself as the problem, that’s not a policy dispute — it’s the same anti-God, anti-individual instinct that drove every communist regime in history to strip people of what God intended for families to build and steward.
Now this Demoncratic Party is in full support of Muslim people who want Sharia law, which is absolutely against Christian beliefs. Consider what Sharia governance actually means for religious freedom. Apostasy — leaving Islam, including converting to Christianity — carries severe legal penalties in a number of Sharia-governed countries, in some cases death, which directly criminalizes the Great Commission’s call to convert and be converted. Blasphemy laws in these same systems can criminalize criticizing Muhammad or the Quran, making open evangelism or even quoting Scripture that contradicts Islamic teaching legally dangerous. Christians and other religious minorities have historically been subject to “dhimmi” status under these systems — a legally second-class standing involving special taxes (jizya) and restrictions on building or repairing churches. Sharia-influenced penal codes in several countries also treat “honor” as a mitigating factor in murder, allowing reduced sentences for men who kill female relatives over perceived sexual impropriety or “dishonoring” the family — Pakistan’s penal code allowed this until reform in 2016, and similar provisions remain elsewhere. And several countries with Sharia-based constitutions state explicitly that no law may contradict Islamic law, meaning religious freedom guaranteed on paper is subordinate to Sharia in practice. None of this is compatible with the religious liberty our Constitution guarantees, and it stands in direct opposition to the Great Commission’s call to freely preach the Gospel.
